After Chingay celebrations ebbed into a scattering of sweepers frantically cleaning up the streets of litter and confetti, the floats made way for Hippo Open-Deck buses; City Alive! 2009, Chingay’s after party begins.
Hong Kong celebrity award-winning dancers Yiu and Bo, and the finalists of street dance competition Funkamania XIV, kick-started the event that transformed City Hall front into Singapore’s largest street dance party.
While the teams battle for the the title of the King of Funkamania, “World’s Sexiest DJ” Sassy Pandez, DJ Sarasa a.k.a Sliverboombox from Japan, and Singapore’s DJ KoFlow performed exclusive showcases till 3 am.
