Topshop/Topman celebrated their 1-year opening of the flagship store at Ion Orchard on Oct 1. To be exact, the invites-only “We Are One” dark party was held at a large cornered-off area at Ion Level 8 carpark. Talk about exclusiveness!
In conjunction with the launch of Topshop/Topman Autumn/Winter 2010 collection, the highlight of the party was a runway show featuring close to 30 looks each for both the guys and girls.
Topshop Autumn/Winter collection was mainly made up of woolly sweaters, fur coats, lovely floral-printed stockings, loose silk shirts, eye-catching headbands and of course, their signature gorgeous high (and almost impossible to walk in) heels and boots.
Although the fur coats might be a little too fancy and warm for the humid weather in Singapore, the silk shirts and simple light woolen dresses coupled with platform heels are still suitable for those who do not want to sacrifice fashion for comfort.

A structured shoulders dress flared from the waist down with a little black slip peeking out, adorned with a black body harness, is the absolute winner of the night.
For the guys, Topman Autumn/Winter collection did not disappoint too. Cuffed pants, trench coats, long sweaters, boots and beanies came mostly in camel, navy and maroon. They were incorporated with denim shirts and vests.

A clean-cut camel blazer and pants tucked into shiny black boots is the perfect classy ensemble for a guy.
Special guests that night included fashion bloggers, familiar DJ faces and local celebrities such as Patricia Mok.
Shan & Ross and Desiree Lai from 98.7fm graced the event as well.
