Appeal for blood platelets

Update Feb. 15 from Jowell Chee: Jordan has passed away early this morning and the wake will be held at Blk 288A Bukit Batok Street 25 from 5pm today. Cremation will take place on Tuesday. The family would like to thank all who have been with Jordan during this difficult period of time.

B+ and O+ blood platelets are needed for Tan Jun Jie Jordan, a second-year Molecular Biotechnology student. Jordan was hospitalised on Feb. 10 due to a viral infection.

One bag of blood platelets cost $25,000. According to Jordan’s friends, an earlier operation has already set the family back by $100,000.
