Rewind 1 – Free cash just in time for Christmas!

Short on cash for presents? You’ll wish you lived in Australia this Christmas.

The Herald Sun reports that the AUD10.4 billion (S$10.3 billion) economic package for 
families to help stave off this recent economic crisis has been spent
in an altogether different direction.

Figures have shown that there has been an astounding jump in sales figures for the games market this Christmas period. Up 39% compared to the same period last year, it seems that the Australians are giving everything to the kids this year.

Perhaps the Australian government didn’t mean it literally when they 
said each family would get AUD$1,000 for each kid.
