People describe Lin Verena as a candy with a surprise centre. You’ll never know what you’re going to get because she’s known for her spontaneity and open nature. On first glance, she may appear as a girl who only seeks pleasure and entertainment in whatever she does. However, Verena lives by the principle of maintaining a good balance between work and play. She also has varied interests in a diverse range of activities such as sailing, cooking and illustration. A final-year student in Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s very popular Mass Communication diploma, she is deeply passionate for writing and is thus pursuing a specialist diploma in Journalism and Publishing. She hopes to further her studies in Singapore’s NTU Wee Kim Wee School of Communication in Comm Studies upon graduation.
