Dear Urbanwire,

I like the review of the Nike+ Sportband, however, there were some inaccuracies that I would like to clarify.

First, having to replace the Nike+ Sensor once every three years isn't as expensive as the author has made it sound. At a cost of $25, it is only slightly more than replacing the battery in your digital watch

Also, the Nike+ Sportband, or Sensor, is not limited to Nike+ compatible shoes. There are many products on the market that make shoe pockets specifically for the Sensor Pod. One example is a waterbelt and accessories company named Nathan. They make a fantastic little velcro pouch that wraps through your laces and stays firmly in place for an accurate reading. Even Nike.com sells little plastic holders that you lace into the shoe, to hold the little sensor in place.

This product is worth the novelty and is great for all runners, regarless the brand of shoe they wear.
